Firmware / Embedded Engineer – .NET Experience
LiftOff is looking for an experienced Firmware / Embedded Engineer with strong .NET expertise who is comfortable working across modern Microsoft technologies—from .NET Framework 4.x to the latest .NET/.NET Core versions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building reliable, scalable software that interacts with real-world hardware, integrates APIs, and works across backend, server, and IoT-driven environments.

5+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development, along with firmware or embedded systems exposure
Strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework 4.x, .NET 5/6/7/8/9
Extensive experience building and consuming SOAP and REST APIs
Solid experience working with MySQL Server
Hands-on exposure to Windows 10 IoT (Snapdragon) and migration to Linux (Rockchip) platforms
Experience with RS232 serial communication, pulse counting, and hardware interaction
Experience developing UWP applications that interface with physical hardware, such as valves and flow meters
Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications using IIS (Internet Information Services)
Strong understanding of JWT, OAuth, caching, and session management
Experience integrating APIs with native or hybrid mobile applications
Exposure to SignalR (real-time synchronization) and Dockerized services
Familiarity with Git or SVN
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
Experience supporting integrations for Android and iOS applications
